Our room was spacious, clean, and comfortable, exceeding expectations. The hosts went above and beyond to make our stay special, even arranging flowers for my wife's birthday. The location provided easy access to antique shops and beautiful churches, making it a perfect base for exploration. the prices for dining options seemed a bit steep, and some menu items were unavailable during our visit. a lovely experience with friendly staff and well-appointed accommodations.

The outdoor garden offers a nice escape with cozy seating areas, perfect for enjoying a drink while taking in the surroundings. The rooms feature natural toiletries adding a touch of class to the stay.
This place operates more as a pub with rooms, which means proximity to the garden resulted in noise during opening hours, sacrificing some privacy. a lack of cleanliness in the room, like dusty surfaces and a musty smell in the bathroom, left an unsatisfactory impression. Breakfast options were limited, especially for those preferring lighter fare, with no fruit or yogurt available.

We stayed at Royal Oak and truly enjoyed the spacious Deluxe Double room with lovely garden views. The friendly staff made breakfast enjoyable with great options. Slight noise from upstairs disrupted the otherwise tranquil atmosphere a bit, but overall, it's an inviting spot for a relaxing getaway.

Ideal for a couples getaway
I stayed here one night with my wife and the staff were super friendly and welcoming, it felt like we were at home. They had a comfy bed with pillows that just wrapped around us, and the breakfast was just out of this world, the hot chocolate was simply the best I've ever had.
It wasn't cheap, but you do get what you pay for and it was still acceptable.

Had an amazing weekend with friends! We explored some chic boutiques and enjoyed the beautiful local parks. Our room was lovely and comfy, with plenty of hot water. Just a heads-up, the heating was tricky to control. Still, the atmosphere was lively, and the outdoor spaces were perfect for hanging out. Would definitely recommend the belly pork!
The only downside was the room getting quite hot at night, making it tough to sleep comfortably. We couldn't leave the balcony door open due to noise from the pub downstairs.
